A private view of your own money.
Cacao is a personal-finance dashboard built and used by a single owner to see their own bank, card, and investment accounts in one place — balances, transactions, holdings, liabilities, and statements — with read-only spending and savings insights.
Read-only
Own accounts only
No money movement
Never sold or shared
What it does
- Aggregates the owner's accounts into one dashboard: balances, transactions, investment holdings, liabilities, and statements.
- Generates read-only insights — recurring charges, idle-cash suggestions, credit-card perk tracking — as information only.
- Performs no transactions and moves no money; the integration is strictly read-only.
How your data is handled
- Account data is retrieved read-only via Plaid and used solely to display information to the owner.
- Access credentials and tokens are encrypted at rest; secrets are never logged.
- Data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties. It is a private, single-owner tool — not offered to external customers.
- Connections and stored data can be deleted at any time by disconnecting the institution.
